January's Meeting

Image result for new years eve clip art

Even the bitter cold did not stop us from attending our first meeting of 2018. It was nice to see everyone out after the busy holiday season.

Charline with her very handy microwave cozy.
I (Marj) have made them in various sizes and use them all the time in my home,

June has done a fantastic flannel applique with free motion quilting.
What a fabulous quilt it is  beautiful!

This is the back of June's flannel quilt.

Anita pieced and free motion quilted this Scrappy Star.
What a lovely quilt

Back of Anita's quilt

Allison made a selection of appliqued decorative pillow covers

Another example of Allison's applique.

Connie's Hockey Rink Warmer Quilt with pouch for hand warming
and pocket. What a great idea, Wish I  had one when I was
spending many many hours in a cold rink years ago.

Joyce has been at it again and these pictures do not do her work justice. The quilts
were moving too fast to get a good shot but they are so beautifully free motion quilted.

Another of Joyce's linen appliqued and free motion quilted pieces. She is a talent
beyond words.

Well that was all for Show & Tell for this month. The storm is coming so stay warm and safe.
